My New Physical AI Position
$1.4B valuation, 1,000+ clients in robotics and autonomous systems, including Anduril
The company I’m covering today is a key supplier in the Physical AI industry.
Physical AI refers to artificial intelligence systems that interact with and operate in the physical world, rather than existing purely as digital software.
These systems combine AI algorithms for perception, reasoning, and decision-making with physical components such as sensors, actuators, cameras, and robotic mechanisms.
Examples of Physical AI
Autonomous Vehicles
AI systems in Tesla, Waymo, and Zoox vehicles process massive streams of camera, radar, and LiDAR data to perceive their surroundings and make real-time driving decisions like steering, braking, and overtaking.
Drones
Companies like Skydio, Anduril, Red Cat, and Shield AI use AI-powered vision and navigation to enable fully autonomous flight. These drones carry out reconnaissance, delivery, and inspection tasks without direct human control.
Humanoid Robots
Projects such as Tesla Optimus, Figure 03, and Agility Robotics’ Digit integrate AI for locomotion, balance, and manipulation. They’re designed for warehouse, factory, and household tasks, mimicking human motion with real-time sensor feedback.
Warehouse and Delivery Robots
Amazon Proteus, Boston Dynamics Stretch, and Serve Robotics delivery units use computer vision, mapping, and navigation models to move goods safely through crowded spaces.
Industrial Robots
Manufacturers like ABB, Fanuc, and Universal Robots embed machine learning into robotic arms, enabling them to adapt to variable parts and collaborate safely with humans on production lines.
Medical and Assistive Robots
The Intuitive Surgical da Vinci system uses AI for precise surgical movements, while Cyberdyne HAL exoskeletons interpret neural or muscle signals to assist patients with mobility and rehabilitation.
Maritime Systems
Defense-focused Physical AI includes Anduril Ghost Shark, and Blue Ops USVs. These platforms rely on AI for target recognition, route optimization, and autonomous mission control.
Agricultural Robots
John Deere See & Spray and Carbon Robotics LaserWeeder use vision-based AI to detect and act on individual plants, applying chemicals or laser pulses only where needed to cut waste and labor costs.
Construction and Field Robotics
Built Robotics automates heavy equipment like excavators with AI for trenching and grading, while Sarcos Guardian XO exosuits use AI to enhance human strength and precision in industrial environments.
Consumer and Service Robots
Home and service robots such as Dyson 360 Vis Nav, and SoftBank Pepper use AI for mapping, navigation, and natural-language interaction, bringing Physical AI into homes and businesses.
The growth potential in this space is massive.
NVIDIA is investing billions here because, as Jensen Huang says:
“The next wave of AI is Physical AI.”
The company I’m adding to my portfolio is already supplying hypergrowth, state-of-the-art firms like Anduril for their new aerial drones, as well as industry giants such as John Deere and Komatsu.
It has also secured government contracts for smart infrastructure and is widely used in Boston Dynamics Spot.
Let’s not waste any time and get into what could be one of the best pure plays on robotics, automation, and intelligent infrastructure in the market right now.
